Sharing the wonders of Costa Rica

The Gulf of Papagayo

Jun 06

The gulf of Papagayo enfolds the largest touristic pole of the whole Central America region. This project was declared of public interest in 1979. The main goal was to create, within a space of 2 thousand hectares of dry and rain forests and seventeen diverse beaches, a wholesome solution between social development for its inhabitants and nature preservation for the future generations.

Today locals and travelers from around the world can enjoy the warm water of the pacific coast or simply rest under the shade of centenary tress in the depths of a primary forest. Since the very beginning of this project Swiss Travel adopted Guanacaste as our second home so we as well grew up with the project, and now more than thirty years later we can proudly say that we have become the truly insiders of tourism in the region.  For the next time you have clients visiting Papagayo, please let them know they are supporting the protection of nature and the local development, at the same time they enjoy traveling with a reliable expert.
